Rules & Safety
Safety for our visitors, crew and artists is our highest priority. We apply a absolute zero-tolerance for drugs or violence. Security personnel supervise the festival at all times and will take swift action if needed.
- Absolutely no drugs allowed
- No drinks or food brought in by yourself is allowed
- No glas or weapon of any kind is permitted
- Emergency assistance by the Red Cross is on-site and available
Food & Beverages
Every year we host a number of “traditional” food trucks (French fries, hamburgers) as well as a selected amount of Latin inspired food trucks serving different flavors of delicious food like pasta’s, paella’s, etc.
The central bar has a broad variety of beers, soft drinks and cocktails. Next to tequila-flavored beer we have a selection of latin inspired cocktails like Mojito & Caipirinha. Drinks have to be paid by drinking vouchers which can be purchased at the festival. You can pre-order a number of vouchers and get a few for free. Check out the voucher section for moire information
Nearby underground parking is available: The Postsite parking has 325 parking spaces. Parking costs vary between 1€ and 10€ depending on how long you stay. You can also park in the nearby streets, but be aware that these are not free. you will have to pay at the nearest paying booth.
Free parking is possible at 200 meter distance of the event. The Pierre Corneliskaai (next to the river) is a free parking zone.
We have partnered with IBIS Aalst to provide you with hotel accommodation throughout the festival. IBIS offers you a single or double bed room including breakfast from a single night up to 3 nights to be part of the full festival.
IBIS Aalst Centre is only a few kilometers away from the festival grounds.

The latino Festival is and remains a free-entrance festival. However we offer hotel accommodation through IBIS Aalst if you wish to extend your stay at the festival. You can also pre-order drink vouchers at a reduced price. Check the voucher section for more information
The Werfplein is centrally located in Aalst and easily accessible from any direction in Belgium. Coming from Ghent or Brussels take the exit Aalst on the E40. Continu on the N45 direction Aalst. At the next roundabout go straight forward into the Parklaan. Follow the road until you cross the river Dender. Take a left right after the bridge. Go straight until the next traffic lights. Now you will see the festival grounds on your left, across from the river. Continuing straight after the traffic light will bring you to Pierre Corneliskaai where you can park for free.
